Offering your head To Guru Gobind Singh Ji is a very big step. And, once taken, he is very stubborn about giving it back. I tried for years to get mine back; I looked really strange wandering around Maya headless.

But in time, I healed enough to wander back home and here I am, still a headless Kaur splashing around in thev terrifying world-ocean, everyone around me wondering, I'm sure, when I'll just climb into the boat and enjoy the ride.

I wonder, too.

Something else I wonder about. Your header picture. I recognise it as from Rang De Basant. And it does seem rather violent.

Just curious.

lol Rang De Basant? Which photo are you on about? One's from Sholay and oh wait , you may be talking about the Baghat Singh pic...one of my heroes.

If it's sholay then the explanation is that it's my fav film.

Oh, dear, have I stuck my foot in it again? I mean the picture at the top. Isn't that Aamir Khan shooting something or someone?

I get these movies - few of which I have actually seen - all mixed up.

The dapper Bhagat Singh I recognise, although I prefer him in a turban, personally. Either way, also my of my heroes.

*blushes*

Oh, oh, I did stick my foot in it, eh? This movie is much older (Thank you Wikipedia!) and stars Big B. In any case, it sounds like a violent movie.

*curtsies prettily and exits, much chagrined*

*returns*

It's a great picture, though, neith obvious like my lioness nor bleak like my body on the railroad tracks.

*bows formally and exits*

Laughter is good for the soul. Why else would Vaheguru give us the giraffe, the elephant and a sense of humour?
